Jeff and I decided that we were going to start a family game night. Since Chloe has been going to the YMCA with daddy she has learned how to play a lot of new games. Her favorite game is go fish and UNO. We each won at least one game and had a lot of fun. It was nice spending time together with no t.v. or distractions. I hope we have many more nights like tonight. Chloe also got a hold of mommy's camera and snapped pictures of herself.

Chloe has developed an instant love with the computer. It has seem to grown a lot here lately. While this could be a harmless thing, it could also turn into the most harmful thing. With Chloe being only 5 I know that she doesn't know about all of the bad things that can be on the computer and I want it to stay like that for a very long time. I have been struggling with whether or not to let her be on it or not. On one hand she could learn so much but then it could easily turn into a nightmare. She loves to play on barbie.com and on Disney.com which is fine but she has recently found barbiedressup.com which sounds innocent enough but while I was watching her one night some things were on there that I thought were very inappropriate for a child to see, even though she had not idea what it was or that it was bad. I was horrified. So I have now decided that she is only allowed on pbskids and other preschool sites. I know we can only protect them so long but I will not allow the computer and it's corruptness to creep into my home.

Today Mommy got off of work early and so we just hung around the house. Mommy did some scrapbooking and Chloe played and then decided to get her cd's and microphone out. This girl cracks me up dancing and singing. After she got done singing and dancing she decided to get her My little Pony game out and play herself. Who won you ask? She did of course. She is quite the little mess.

Saturday we bummed around the house and mommy took a nap for a while and then we went to Dale and Lori's to swim and grill out. We had been so busy with moving and the house that we had much time for swimming. It was nice. Chloe and Dale played and they had a great time. Lori and mommy soaked up the sun. Today after church we headed back over the Dale and Lori's because mommy couldn't resist the great tanning weather! Funny story. After we got home from swimming we ate dinner and then I put Chloe in the tub. I came in to check on her and she was sound asleep in the tub. I was cracking up. Of course I wanted to grab my camera but I didn't think that would be appropriate. She was so cute.

This is how Chloe sat when she was outside for fireworks.




We started the morning by taking Chloe to see Wall-e at the movies. She loves going to the movies and thanks it's so cool seeing the "big screen". After the movies came back home for a little while and then headed to mawmaw's for a cookout and swimming. Aunt Christy and the boys had lots of fireworks so they were lighting them off all day which Chloe was NOT happy about. She was totally scared of any and all fireworks. She would wine and cry when they would go to light one. Mawmaw ended up inside with her. I don't know what the deal was. We got rained on several times so we ended up inside and the kids played with bubbles. After a while we ended up heading home and Mr. Dale, Mrs. Lori and Alex came over to do fireworks with us. We had a great time and yes Chloe was scared of those fireworks too.

We'll today was another typical day. After I got off from work I picked Chloe up from the YMCA and then we had supper. She then wanted to go swimming in her new pool from Mawmaw and Pawpaw. They got her a little pool at the house warming party my friends at work had for me. We hadn't had the time to get it out but last night I got it blown up and filled up with water so it could warm up today while we were gone. So after supper we headed out to play. She had fun but kept telling me she needed a friend to play with. No sooner did she say that then a little girl from across the street, who moved in yesterday, came over to introduce herself. Chloe was so excited, finally a little girl her age. We let her borrow one of Chloe's swim suits so she could swim with Chloe. They had a ball and Chloe was already inviting her to spend the night. We had to have a talk about that when she left. Chloe didn't understand that we just met her and her mommy probably wouldn't want her spending the night here when she didn't know us. So needless to say, Chloe is thrilled to finally have a friend in the neighborhood.

Yes, it has been way too long since I have updated the blog but moving takes up all of your time. We are finally settled and finally got the internet working again. I have been so lost with out the internet for almost a month. I have many pictures from the past few weeks so I will try and explain what is going on in each of them. I promise to keep up from now on.
